Regular Member Member - This is the rank of all new members of the guild. It begins with a two week probation and lasts until the rank of Apprentice is achieved. The responsibility of members is to show up at guild functions and represent the Guardians with honor. If an apprenticeship is not wanted, guild members may remain at this tier if they choose. This is meant to be a probationary period where the guild will determine if you are right for the guild, and where you shall determine whether the guild is right for you. Those not accepted for apprenticeship or that choose to leave the guild will remain our friends throughout. No hard feelings from either side is necessary or tolerated. Sponsor - If
you meet someone that you find to be of excellent character and recruit them as
probationary members, you will be assigned as their sponsor. If the probationary member is
an open applicant, his information will be posted on the message boards and anyone can
volunteer to sponsor him. Liason (officer) - Liasons are volunteers that actually carry the officer tag and invite members approved by the high council. In general, there are no requirement to become a liason and the rank is non-linear.. that is to say that it is a title that exists seperately from the normal ranks. Your duties as a liason is to ONLY invite approved members, make sure that they have sent a formal application via the website (for documentation purposes) and give them the password for the message boards, as well as instructing them that they post an introduction post to the forum. Apprentice - Apprentice is a slotted rank, meaning that members will be promoted to Apprentice as a Master becomes available. Apprentices will be assigned to a Master of their same class when possible, and the Master will be the focal point for questions, help, and experience in that class. Those seeking an apprenticeship should already have attained at least lvl 10. The responsibility of apprentices is to attend guild functions, seek to gain experience, and represent the Guardians with honor. Master of the Arts - Master classes who have attained lvl 25 wishing to devote more of him/herself by taking on an Apprentice will be promoted to this tier. Masters will seek out an apprentice of their choosing, guide him through his apprenticeship, and teach them the ways and places to hunt for his level. Apprentices are also a good way of giving back to the guild when you upgrade to new items. This tier requires increased dedication to the guild, attendance at guild events, devising Dynamic Quests for the guild, and representing the guild with high honor and loyalty. High Knight - The finest and most devoted of the classes may be honored with a reccomendation to attain the position of Knight. A Knighthood requires the unanimous vote from all members of the High Council. This rank is bestowed upon valiant classes who have proven themselves to be of the highest honor, dedication, and loyalty. Classes recieving a Knighthood will be given the Oath of Protection in the Temple of Marr and serve as the protectors of the code and honor of the Guardians. High Council - The high council is a group of ten wise members selected by the guildmaster to be impartial judges and must vow to do keep the welfare of the guild higher than friendship and personal prejudice. High Council members must have supreme judgement and diplomacy and will be the decision makers within the guild. The High Coucil is responsible for accepting or denying new members, guild direction, promotions, demotions, and excommunications from the Guild. Acceptance to the guild for new members requires at least three members of the High Council to be signed on. All High Council deliberations will be kept to tells with the guildmaster or each other and kept CONFIDENTIAL between them. NO HIGH COUNCIL opinions or deliberations will be conducted using guildsay.
