A single page found tucked between two books in the library of Erudin:

It is told that the nameless one, who brought forth the suns, the moons, the Gods and the galaxies returned to the Infinity of the One from which he had come. The Finite universes had been constructed, and the cosmos was stable in yet another omniverse where time was linear. The bounds of time were placed on the finite universe, never to return, and the mystery of the Nameless One was never heard from again.

Until now, we have had no reason to believe that this was anything more than a fanciful story passed down through the Ages, told by old men in the waning hours before sleep. Until now, I say, because I think we have found something. Something others may have known for some time.

One year and seven moons ago, we found it. But in a strange way, I have an eerie feeling that we did not so much find it, as it found us. This feeling pervades my every sense and tickles my nerves as it travels up my spine to my Erudite mind. It was discovered by the Tier'Dal, and brought to the United Council's meeting in the plane of sky. As you know, near their home, there is a place where the mountains scream and spit fire and rock over the land in a virtual Lavastorm. It seems that on this day, much more than rock and ash spewed forth from the earth's core. Today, we have found two pieces of Lore from which we cannot derive the origin.

Two bits of rock. Who would ever have thought that the eons of fighting and hardships between the Gods would come down to two bits of rock spewed forth from Norrath's core on a cool and breezy fall day. Alas, I digress.... two stone tablets were unearthed by a firey chasm in Norrath's core. These Tablets contained script written in an unknown tongue which at first, we could not transcribe. The language wascomprised of symbols and pictures no one in Norrath has ever seen before. Our scholars have worked for the past year trying to decipher these tablets. After an entire year of methodical study and rigorous guesswork,  this is what we have pieced together :

There seems, somehow, to have been a city here in Norrath. A city that was built before even Veeshan brought the Dragons here. A city that was built during the Infinite Age when the Nameless' mere thoughts brought forth the everything. During the Grand High Council meeting in the plane of sky, many of the elders spoke out against this idea. They claim our fine, prudent Erudite Scholars were mistaken, and questioned how a city could be built even before the Age of Scale. After all, there was no one here to build it! I grant that it is a good question. What would the Nameless One want of a city? And when the answer came to me, I wasnt sure I believed myself.
It is told that the nameless one, who brought forth the suns, the moons, the Gods and the galaxies returned to the Infinity of the One from which he had come..   The Finite universes had been constructed, and the cosmos was stable in yet another omniverse where time was linear. The bounds of time were placed on the finite universe, never to return, and the mystery of the Nameless One was never heard from again.  When He returned, the infinity of the realm stopped, and his leaving began what we now call "linear time." That is to say... time, as we know it, began counting. I belive that this lost city was where the Nameless One crossed over. I believe that when the Gods were created, in the Age of Infinity, they shared a cosmic unity with the Nameless One in the Infinity that was our Omniverse at the time. I believe that during the moments before the Nameless One's dissapearance back into the Infinity of the One, the Gods, given a consciousness by His will, shared knowledge with the Nameless One. I believe that even though when He dissapeared, creating the Dawn of Time, that some unconscious section of the Gods' minds remembered the time before the Dawn, and invariably have some unconscious, instinctive knowledge of how and where the Nameless One crossed over. I believe this is why Veeshan, the WurmQueen first arrived and claimed stake to Norrath. I believe it was the dragon's cunning instincts, that led here here, to this Universe, and to this world in particular. The gods felt the pain of time. The joy of the infinite was replaced with linear time, and what once seemed unity, now was split. As I said, I believe that the Dragon Lord first came to Norrath by instinct, in search of the Nameless One, their creator, and in search of the infinity, where the joy of infinite unity could be reclaimed. Veeshan deposited her children all along the world of Norrath, and the other gods followed, seeking to stake their own claim in the new world.

The first one they turned on was Veeshan, fearing she alone had plans to take the realm for her own use. The gods unified against her, and brought the dragons to their knees, and eventually leaving the race of dragon nearly extinct. As time grew on and the bonds of unity faded away, and the world's resources began to thin out,  the gods began to fight amongst themselves; culminating in the Great War, which ended approximately three thousand years ago. At the end of the Great War, the gods have retired to their alter planes, and agreed to let their earthly minions grow and live of their own free will.

I believe that somewhere in this world, there lies the remains of an ancient city, that existed before time, and in that city, there exists the portal that connects this realm with the Infinity of the One. I believe we must discover this lost city, and show our Gods once again, the miracle of unity. . I realize now that we're all fighting amongst each other in vain. All our eons of battle and strife are for naught. We have accomplished nothing through war. Only by working together can we find the city I have dubbed simply as Adonia, and relcaim the unity taken from us by the loss of the Nameless One..

I'm sure it sounds impossible. As Im writing this, I can hardly believe my own words. At the Grand High Unified Council today, I was openly laughed at and admonished for bringing such frivolity to the face of the elders. It didnt exactly go as I planned... but I did gain the support of a select few of the audience. Several of them contacted me after the council meeting, stating that they were interested in my theory and wanted to help me. Interestingly enough, a myriad of all the races, even some of the members of the feared Tier'Dal wanted to join the hunt for Adonia.  I called an assembly meeting of all interested for tomorrow. I have decided that the best place for my group of adventurers to start this journey is to venture to the home of the Tier'Dal, and find those who originally found the tablets. This will be my first time travelling to the Tier'Dal city, and I know I will not be welcomed there. I pray that the spirit of the Nameless one watches over me as I try desperately to make peace and find unity in a land so torn apart by strife.
